Jetcraft Commercial adds the Twin Otter Classic 300-G to its inventory

The De Havilland Canada Twin Classic Otter 300-G is entering operational service in 2025, ushering in the next chapter for one of the world’s most trusted and versatile utility aircraft. Following its formal launch in 2023, the first customer deliveries are imminent, with Jetcraft Commercial proud to lead the way as the launch customer.

Designed for rugged environments and adaptable across a wide range of roles, from passenger transport to special missions, the 300-G aligns with Jetcraft Commercial’s strategy: to deliver purpose-built aircraft that meet the complex needs of today’s commercial, corporate and government operators.

A decade in the making

The Twin Otter holds special significance for Jetcraft Commercial. A decade ago it was the very first aircraft type we transacted, marking the beginning of our journey as a commercial aircraft specialist. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary this year, our continued confidence in the Twin Otter’s reliability, versatility, and market appeal remains unchanged.  Becoming the launch customer for the new 300-G model builds on this legacy, but also represents a new chapter for Jetcraft Commercial. For the first time, we are adding newly manufactured aircraft to our inventory, reinforcing our position as a trusted source for turboprops. The 300-G’s enhanced capabilities will resonate with a wide range of clients worldwide, particularly in the emerging markets where we are actively expanding our presence.

Global demand across sectors

Interest in the Twin Otter Classic 300-G is already strong among the key customer groups we anticipated. This aligns with a broader resurgence in demand for turboprops as operators seek more cost-effective and flexible alternatives to narrowbody jets, particularly for regional and remote operations. Turboprops are once again proving their value, particularly on routes where short take-off and landing performance, fuel efficiency, and resilience are essential.

This shift in market dynamics has been evident across our broader turboprop activity, including the recent successful placement of 19 Dash 8-400, sourced from Horizon Air and redeployed to customers across multiple continents. That momentum is continuing, and the 300-G is poised to meet the growing demand for modernised, mission-capable aircraft.

Commercial clients are drawn to this model as a dependable fleet renewal option, especially in regions with limited infrastructure or where larger aircraft are not viable. Corporate clients and high-end hospitality providers are also exploring its potential as a tailored transport solution, drawn to its ability to operate from short or water-based runways and reach otherwise inaccessible destinations. This growing interest reflects a clear trend: customers are seeking modern utility aircraft that offer a balance of performance, flexibility, and sustainability. The Twin Otter Classic 300-G delivers on all three.

Modern upgrades, proven foundations

While retaining the types legendary durability, the 300-G introduces a suite of upgrades tailored to today’s operational and operational requirements. The new model features a Garmin G1000 NXi flight deck, significant weight savings, and updated systems that enhance both pilot usability and long-term efficiency.

Together, these advancements make the 300-G an attractive proposition for long-time Twin Otter operators seeking to modernise, as well as new entrants looking for a mission-ready aircraft with a proven heritage and upgraded capabilities.

Supporting global operator needs

Jetcraft Commercial’s entry into the Twin Otter program reflects our commitment to sourcing, marketing and delivering high-utility aircraft that are mission-ready from day one. With the 300-G, we add a rugged, flexible, and technologically advanced model to our offering, one that supports clients far beyond traditional route structures.

As demand grows across both established and emerging markets, we’re ready to support businesses seeking dependable aircraft with modern-day performance.
