Jetcraft Commercial, the commercial division of global aircraft trading firm Jetcraft, is announcing the delivery of a third Dash 8-400 turboprop to Asman Airlines, the newly launched state-owned carrier of Kyrgyzstan and a subsidiary of Manas International Airport OJSC.
The delivery is a significant milestone in the launch of Asman Airlines, supporting its mission to enhance regional air connectivity. The Dash 8-400 will be used to introduce new domestic routes, improving access between remote communities and Kyrgyzstan’s capital, Bishkek.
Raphael Haddad, President, Jetcraft Commercial, says: “This transaction is another example of Jetcraft Commercial’s strength in placing the right aircraft in the right market. The Dash 8-400 is ideally suited to Kyrgyzstan’s operating environment and network ambitions, offering the performance and efficiency needed for regional missions. We’re proud to support Asman Airlines at the start of its journey.”
Zholdosh Aidaraliev, Director General, Asman Airlines, says: “Jetcraft Commercial has been instrumental in helping us take off. Their expertise and support enabled us to identify the right aircraft that will give us access to key regions from Manas International Airport, supporting economic growth and mobility throughout Kyrgyzstan.”
Jetcraft Commercial’s leadership in the Dash 8-400 market is underpinned by its recent placement of 19 aircraft acquired from Horizon Air, delivered to airlines globally. This latest transaction further demonstrates the company’s ability to execute aircraft transactions that serve the needs of both emerging and established carriers.
