Q&A with Anna Gulbas

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

Statistically, the average day for me consists of emails, phone calls and meetings. But sometimes it’s much more exciting when we have aircraft viewings or we meet customer for negotiations.

Tell us what you enjoy most about your role.

I enjoy my customers. There are no two deals which are the same, no two sister transaction. Each deal, each transaction, each product is completely different. Customers are different, and we are never bored.

Describe what you are most proud of in your professional journey.

I’m most proud of the deal that I did for Polish government, which was a very long process. It was a public procurement, so the requirements were very complex, and I managed to win to the tender for the company, and we were able to sell the aircraft to the Polish government.

Tell us how Jetcraft’s global network of offices and specialists benefit clients.

I think one of the biggest features and advantages of Jetcraft is the size of the company and the fact that it’s a worldwide network. The brand itself written on your back opens a lot of doors, and there are no limitations.

Share which business aircraft you would buy?

Well, from day one of my journey into aviation 20 years ago, my heart has always been with Gulfstream.

Share a travel essential you couldn’t live without?

It would probably be my headphones.

Share the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given.

Stay positive. That’s something I learned over the years because it’s never over till it’s over. If you stay positive, sometimes you’ll be able to turn the tables and win the lost deal.

Describe what’s most rewarding about working with Jetcraft.

The way that we are respected by leadership. We work together as a team, and don’t compete against each other. It’s a friendly environment and the respect towards the work-life balance of each one of us is something very precious.

Describe Jetcraft in one word.

That’s a tough one, but I will go with abstract.
