Jetcraft, the global leader in business aircraft sales, acquisitions and trades, today announced the opening of a new international sales office in Mexico.
This move comes in response to Mexico’s rapid growth in the business aviation field, which has cemented its current position as the second largest aviation market in the world. Ideally located between the US and South America, Mexico benefits from close ties with both regions, attaining an impressive fleet growth of 4.8 percent in 2014. And the forecast is equally promising. Recent estimates suggest that 80 percent of the Mexican fleet is more than ten years old, which indicates that jet owners will be considering new purchases and trades in the years ahead.
Officially opened on August 1, the Mexico City office is located in an exclusive business district on 111 Avenida Presidente Masaryk and will serve as a hub for Jetcraft’s expanding Latin American presence.

Part of this effort is existing and new research centered on the impacts of LEDs on the human eye and how they interact with pilots performing operations at our nation’s airports.

"Jetcraft’s business is based on personal relationships and trust. Company president Chad Anderson says a lot of what they do involves “expectation management.” Anderson says people tend to think the aircraft sale and purchase process will be easier than it is. Sometimes expectations are not realistic in terms of how quickly the process should happen, and sometimes they can be thwarted by unforeseen circumstances. “We help them deal with surprises,” Anderson says. “This could come from a crew misbehaving on a demo flight, where you need to replace the crew at the last moment, or a rogue mechanic making bad statements about an aircraft that are not necessarily fact.”

Jetcraft Co-Owner Jahid Fazal-Karim talks to Anthony Harrington
When Jahid Fazal-Karim joined Jetcraft six years ago, the vision was to make the company the biggest jet brokerage in the world. “That was our goal and our objective was always to be the best at what we do. We wanted to create a structure that would get us close to our clients and bring our clients closer to us,” Fazal-Karim told EVA.
