2013 NBAA_Jetcraft Show_2013_ss_-8112Fabrice Roger, former Sales Director, Jetcraft
Location: Latin America

How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I started with Jetcraft in the summer of 2013, so I am one of the newest recruits here.

What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?

My role is to continue to develop Jetcraft’s business in Latin America. Local customer support is very important and since business is growing in this region it was crucial to have someone here on the ground to be face to face with clients.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

There really is no typical day but I do spend a lot of my time travelling, visiting clients and viewing aircraft. I need to be out there with our customers and prospects and to see first hand what is happening in the region. There is no point to doing a deal over the phone, good relationships and the best service comes when you are face to face.

What do you love most above your job?

What I like most is that every day is different. This region has a great mix of cultures and I really enjoy working with different people and nationalities.

Describe the company culture at Jetcraft and what it means to you?

Jetcraft has a very entrepreneurial spirit, which is evident from the top down. The company has such a strong and successful history and has been built by real visionaries, who inspire the whole team and encourage us to be proactive in everything we do. The customer is the priority across the whole team at Jetcraft. Everything we do is with the customer in mind and I really respect and admire this.

What do you want your customers to experience when dealing with Jetcraft?

I want them to see and feel the difference our experience and professionalism makes. We are not in this for short-term gains, and our customers who have worked with us know this. They know that we treat our customers as partners and this relationship goes way beyond any transaction. Our honest and open way of working is what really what sets us apart, I believe. Plus our global reach means that our customers know that we will ensure everything is done to achieve the right outcome, be it a sale or purchase, wherever they are in the world.

Who or what has been your greatest professional influence?

I have worked for some very inspirational people. Both my former and current bosses have, and continue to be a great influence. I have learned a lot from their strategic approach to business and their strong management and motivational skills.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Citius, Altius, Fortius

If you were to buy a business jet, which aircraft would suit your needs and why?

It would have to be a Falcon 2000 LXS for the performance, efficiency and versatility of the French aircraft. Also the design and comfort of the cabin – I am 1.88m (6ft. 2in.) tall so I appreciate the space in the cabin!

What stands out to you as good customer service?

It sounds simple but I believe in the way you follow up with a client is crucial. So many people don’t even bother to follow up on a sale. Customer service is about customer satisfaction and only then do you gain trust and have a long lasting relationship with customers.

Finally, what is your hidden talent or hobby?

I love scuba diving and have had the great privilege of diving with whale sharks.
