Product Overview

The Legacy 650 is in the family of Embraer business jets that were based on the regional commercial airliner passenger jet ERJ-145. The Legacy 650 is a derivative of the Legacy 600 model but offers a longer range and a lower alley with increased headroom. An enhanced version, the Legacy 650E, was announced at the 2016 NBAA.

As of February 2022, 55% of all Legacy 650 aircraft were purchased pre-owned by their current owners, the other 45% new. 3.2% are for sale with all of those (100%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 69 days.

Brief History

The Embraer Legacy 650, a longer-range version of the Legacy 600, was announced at the 2009 NBAA annual event and was certified by the FAA in February 2011. Production of the Legacy 650 ended in 2017 with a total of 97 aircraft produced. One is retired and one is with the manufacturer.

Worldwide Appeal

There are 95 Legacy 650 aircraft in operation today, all of which are wholly owned. 6.3% are currently leased. Asia has the largest percentage of wholly owned Legacy 650 aircraft (38%), followed by Europe (34%) and South America (15%).

How long have you been at Jetcraft?

I have been with Jetcraft for one year. I started in May of 2021 as a temp to hire and became an official employee on July 1st last year.

What are your responsibilities within the global Jetcraft team?

I work directly with the finance and administrative teams to help support our Controller and any special projects. My responsibilities include the day-to-day accounts payable specialist tasks such as managing the accounting inbox, reviewing our vendor invoices and sending off for approval as needed, code and prepare invoices(s) for payment via wire, and code and load the invoices into the accounting system for payment.  Some of my other responsibilities are setting up and maintaining our vendor files, preparing expense reports for staff, reconciling vendor statements, review aged AP, and annually prepare the 1099 forms, and support with month end and quarter close duties. In a nutshell it’s my job to ask questions and make sure our I’s are dotted and our T’s are crossed for auditing, compliance and documentation purposes.

Product Overview

The Learjet 60 was replacement for the mid-size Learjet 55C and was a mid-size cabin, medium range business jet. Thrust reversers and single point refueling are standard equipment, and the aircraft features a full galley together with an aft toilet. It also benefits from numerous aerodynamic refinements to its wing and fuselage, as well as larger aft stabilization delta fins.

As of February 2022, 93% of all Learjet 60 aircraft were purchased pre-owned by their current owners, the other 7% new. 5.7% are for sale with the majority of those (62.5%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 96 days.

Brief History

The Learjet 60 was announced in October 1990, just a few months after Bombardier acquired Learjet. The first Learjet 60 flight was in 1991 and deliveries began in 1993. Production of the Learjet 60 ended in 2007 with a total of 316 aircraft produced. 36 have since been retired. The Learjet 60XR was launched as the new variant in 2005 and ended production in 2013.

Worldwide Appeal

There are 280 Learjet 60 aircraft in operation today. The majority of those (273) are wholly owned with 7 in shared ownership. 3.9% are currently leased. North America has the largest percentage of wholly owned Learjet 60 aircraft (75%), followed by South America (10%) and Europe (6%).

My primary responsibility includes managing the sales, contracts, design, and business development teams.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

I would describe my typical day as dynamic. Every day is a little different in the challenges that it presents.  I try to keep things moving in the right direction for the best results.

What do you love most about your job?

The people.  I particularly enjoy watching a new sales person mature as they earn the confidence and trust of a new customer.  To witness the initial bond and to watch their relationship begin to grow is something special.

Describe a typical day or week in your role.

As soon as I wake up, I check my WeChat messages and email, then I set priorities for the day’s work and assign job tasks to the related personnel. Getting phone calls from clients or business partners to maintain good relationships with them, receiving charter or aircraft acquisition requests from clients or their referrals.

Product Overview

The Gulfstream G650 has the distinction of being the fastest and among the longest range business jets ever built. The fuselage cross section is a unique oval shape with 8 large (28 inch) cabin windows on each side and the wing uses greater sweep (36 degrees) than previous Gulfstream models with no leading-edge high-lift devices. Aircraft controls are completely fly-by-wire.

As of February 2022, 33% of all Gulfstream G650 aircraft were purchased pre-owned by their current owners, the other 67% new. 2.5% are for sale with all of those (100%) under an exclusive broker agreement. When for sale the average time on the market is 72 days.

Brief History

The Gulfstream G650 began production in 2012 and is still being produced presently. It had its first flight in November 2009 and received FAA certification in September 2012. A total of 190 Gulfstream G650 aircraft have been produced.

Worldwide Appeal

There are 161 Gulfstream G650 aircraft in operation today. The majority of those (156) are  wholly owned with 3 in shared ownership and 2 in fractional ownership. 10.6% are currently leased. North America has the largest percentage of wholly owned Gulfstream G650 aircraft (47%), followed by Europe (25%) and Asia (24%)
